Hristo Stoichkov welcomed the idea to submit his personal belongings for his favorite double room at the five-star hotel ‘Palace-Marina Dinevi’, at the Marina Dinevi yacht area in St.Vlas. Stoichkov is a frequent guest to the hotel and needless to say the room is number 8. It is on the hotel’s second floor, boasts a king size bed and has a overwhelming view towards the sea and the yachts! The room now is named STOICHKOV and the glass display inside will exhibit even more personal items of the great Bulgarian football player, to the great joy of his numerous fans. Hristo Stoichkov himself has written down interesting messages on most posters and T-shirts, for the room’s guests, which we shall keep confidential. Marina Dinevi is again host to the traditional yacht show ‘Sveti Vlas’, to be held in the days 23 – 27 June 2010. The show will present motor and sailing yachts from the famous brands Feretti, Itama, Regal, Cranchi, Elan. The yacht-show is organized by 'Venid Yacht' and Dinevi Group. Among the exhibitors at the shows are also yacht-equipment and yacht-accessories providers, air-plane and helicopter importers, car dealers. You are welcome to see all yachts – from the outside and inside –and you can ask all your questions and make all comparisons, assisted by the professional advice of the best trained yacht-crews in Bulgaria.

08.5.2010 | New kids playground in St.Vlas in 2010

On 26 April 2010 started the building of a new open kids playground, very close to the ‘Watermill’ complex, in Dinevi Resort. The playground has an area of 400 sq m and will comprise all expected children amusements – swings, slides, roundabouts, climbers – the elements connected on top of a special protective covering. This playground will be the closest one to the Dinevi Resort complexes and will be fully finished my mid June 2010.

On 27 Nov 2009, for the 13th time, BHRA presented the most prestigious awards in the tourism field in Bulgaria. The ceremony was participated by the Mayor of Sofia, Ministers and Vice-Ministers, many high level managers from the tourism branch. Snejina Stamova is the boutique’s hotel Manager from the hotel’s official opening in 2006. With her long experience and preferential approach she is the real warrant for the high level of service on site. The Award is a recognition for the hotel’s continuous aspiration, and the one of ‘Dinevi Group’, to deliver services of a higher standard and individualism. At the same ceremony in 2008 Dinevi Group received the award for the contribution to the development of the Yachting business in Bulgaria.

15.11.2009 | Sandor Petofi �s bas-relief is added to the Alley of the Nations in St.Vlas

The new bas-relief at the Alley of the Nations is the one of the Hungary’s great revolutionary poet laureate and National hero Sandor Petofi, 1823 – 1856. The bas-relief is placed in October 2009 and is the third one, after the first two bas-relieves of the Bulgarian National heroes Vassil Levksi and Hristo Botev. Sandor Petofi is immortalized with his great phrase ‘Liberty, love! These two I need. For my love I will sacrifice life, for liberty I will sacrifice my love’ St.Vlas takes special pride of its Alley of the Nations. The placement of more bas-relieves of heroes, connected to the European cultural and historical heritage, continues! More for the Alley..

11.9.2009 | The third Super car rally 'St.Vlas 2009' finished successfully!

The winners at the third ‘Supercar Rally St. Vlas 2009’ were announced and awarded at a splendid ceremony held at Admiral restaurant, Marina Dinevi, on 8 Sept 2009: 1st place for Hristo Tomov and Angel Kjosev with Audi R8 2nd place for Yordan Dinev and Veselin Atanasov with Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 3rd place for Alexander Gagov and Nicky Petkov with Aston Martin DB9 Volante Two more winning categories were announced – for vehicles less than 5 ooo cm³ and above 5 ooo cm³. The first place for less 5 ooo cm³ was again awarded to the Audi R8 team, whilst the above 5 ooo cm³ prize was unanimously given to the most powerful car in the rally - Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. The organizers of the event gave two more special awards. The first award went to the only lady participating the rally – Maria Tsvetkova, navigator in the Mercedes CL65 AMG. Mercedes gave their own award, handed to Dinko and Yordan Dinevi by Mr D. Sabkov, CEO of ‘Dars Auto’, for Dinevi’s continuous support in the promotion of the rally. The rally was participated also by supercars like Ferrari Fiorano F599, Aston Martin DB9 Volante, Mercedes CL65 AMG, BMW M6-��, Porsche Carrera 4S, Ford Mustang Shelby, Mercedes SL63 AMG, Mercedes SL55 AMG, Ford Mustang Coupe, Dodge Challenger. The third Super car ‘Rally Sv.Vlas 2009’ is taking place in the dates 6 – 8 Sept 2009 The rally is organized by ‘Dinevi Group’, ‘Neptune Motor Sport’ and the Union of the Bulgarian Automobilists - Varna. For the third time the rally is attracting the fans of powerful sport cars in serial manufacture with engines of more than 3 000 cm³. The rally is held on regular roads and in accordance with the Bulgarian Traffic Law. At 11.00 a.m. on 6th Sept for the first time as part of the program the participants will make a parade tour starting in Sv.Vlas, via Sunny Beach and Nessebar. The route of the rally this year is passing by the Greek town of Seres, and the entire route Sv.Vlas – Burgas – Sliven – Plovdiv – Seres – Sandanski – Sofia – St.Vlas is divided into several control points. On 1 Aug 2009 Dinevi Group celebrated its 20th anniversary with an elegant party held at Marina Dinevi. The celebration turned into the most glamorous event of the season and gathered the social elite from all spheres. The guests walked on real red carpet to greet the hosts Dinko and Yordan Dinevi, who turned Dinevi Group into one of the most successful companies in Bulgaria. It is a well known fact that Dinevi Group has been the first in Bulgaria to create and implement the management concept of the gated apart-complexes. A concept which they continue to expand in other neighboring countries. Today Dinevi Resort in St.Vlas is a significant and popular tourist destination, appreciated for its club character and unique holiday style. During these 20 years Dinevi Group diversified its activities and developed the most professional yacht marina in the country, laid the beginnings of the yacht business and the yacht charter business, built and renovated churches, made a good name as patrons and patriots. Dinevi Brothers built and financed the first monument in the world, dedicated to the military men who lost their lives in the struggle against world’s terrorism. The festive fireworks are an irreversible part of every 1 Aug celebration in Sv.Vlas, but this year they were with special meaning. In the end of the amazing light show twenty colorful ‘flowers’ of fireworks were fired high one after the other, forming a beautiful rainbow, illuminating the entire horizon.

The biggest yacht marina in Bulgaria – MARINA DINEVI in St.Vlas – hosted the 4th specialized yacht show in St.Vlas, 24 – 28.06.2009, organized by ‘Venid Yacht’, the professional in the charter industry and yacht sales. More than 30 yachts from the brands Ferretti, Itama, Regal, Cranchi, Elan, BAIA, Marquise 420 SC, Abacus 62 and other were exhibited at the marina, to the delight of connoisseurs and fans. For the first time this year the most attractive yachts were presented in a late evening yacht parade on 27 June. One by one 14 yachts slowly entered the area of the marina, illuminated by the colorful spotlights and with several elegant twirls demonstrated their qualities, while at the same time the presenter explained on the microphone the characteristics, advantages and the sales and registration terms for the yachts, under Bulgarian flag.

‘St.Vlasiy’ church is built on the site of an ancient monastery church in St.Vlas, nowadays located in close proximity to Arena complex. The church is impressive with its beautiful ornaments engraved in the architecture. Although opened to the believers, the orthodox canon icon-drawing is expected to start shortly, as well as the permanent altar to be installed. According to the tradition donations and church-donors also contributes for these purposes. As a gift for the newly-built church the National Museum of History will exhibit here one of its relics – a golden cross with encapsulated wooden part from the cross on which Christ was crucified. After that it is expected that a part of the wholly cross will be donated to the church for ever. Working hours: every day 9.00 – 22.00 h

This year the Bulgarian Hotel & Restaurant Association nominated three hospitality complexes for the Balkan awards in 2008, presented by the Balkan Alliance of Hotel Association (BAHA, www.balkanalliance.org) on 17 Dec 2008, in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. BAHA members approved unanimously all three awards, traditionally presented at the Christmas Eve. As a result Bulgaria received three of all five awards for professional achievement in the Balkan tourist industry in 2008. The Alley is comprising bas-relieves of national heroes from all countries, connected to Bulgaria or mostly to Sveti Vlas. The first bas-relief of the Bulgarian national hero Vassil Levski was opened on the national holiday of 3 March 2008. On 2 June 2008 flowers and wreaths decorated also the second bas-relief of the Bulgarian revolutionary hero Hristo Botev. On important dates every year the Alley will add more national hero images. Our foreign guests and tourists will be pleased to find in the Alley their own hero and will feel Sv.Vlas even closer to their roots and values. This ambitious project is like no other in the country. It is an evidence of our support and admiration towards the national holy things, and at the same time underlines the intercultural spirit of Sveti Vlas and the town’s affiliation towards the European value system.
